The Shay Family: Routine

Now that I'm a stay at home mom and wife, I'm trying very hard to get both of these kids into a routine. Aidan has been easy and I'm still working on Madi. She's doing pretty good about sleeping for long stretchs at night and taking good naps during the day but we still don't have a reliable schedule down yet. I'm sure it will come soon. Both kids are doing great. Aidan had his 3 yr check up a couple weeks ago. He's very healthy and still on track to be a tall, skinny adult. His doctor was very impressed with his vocabulary (and energy level). He brought in a toy to keep him occupied while we were waiting on the doctor. She asked him if it was a shark and he corrected her and said "No that's a humpback whale". Pretty good for a 3 yr old! Madi has her 2 month appt later this week. I'm looking forward to seeing how much she's grown but dreading her first set of immunizations. I hate hearing their pain cry for the first time and am hoping she doesn't have a bad reaction. Aidan never did so hopefully we'll get lucky with her too.
